Stardust Industrialization Plan
19 May 2026 | ZEROGeoengineering.com | Article below by Israeli geoengineering startup, Stardust Labs Ltd., outlines their plan for large-scale manufacturing, aiming for hundreds of megatons dispersed into the atmosphere per year. The engineered amorphous silica particles – Submicronic Engineered Amorphous Silica Particles (SEASP) for Stratospheric Aerosol Injection (SAI) are designed to stay in the atmosphere for a year. The only limiting factors foreseen by the authors are “capital deployment, project execution, infrastructure, precursor-supply coordination, and industrial partnering.” Capabilities of SEASP-TEOS aerosol dispersion, in addition to blocking sunlight, include remote sensing and “tunable surface properties.” This allows for continuous advanced surveillance applications and the use of our atmosphere as a global sensor.
The paper acknowledges that decisions regarding SAI deployment reside with governments and the international community. The requirement of informed public consent for SAI experimentation is absent from the discussion.

The paper describes the manufacturing process “based on wet-precipitation chemistry via a TEOS-based Stöber sol-gel route.” TEOS [tetraethoxysilane] is highly flammable.
