NSF Federal Grant — Atmosphere Cluster
19 August 2026 | ZEROGeoengineering.com | Pursuant to the Weather Research and Forecasting Innovation Act of 2017 (Public Law No. 115-25, Title IV, sec. 402, 15 U.S.C. § 8542), the U.S. Federal government provides funding for atmospheric research experiments. Activities may be coordinated in collaboration with industry, academia, private partners, and the United Nations (UN) World Meteorological Organization (WMO). The U.S. “Weather Enterprise” funds and conducts programs through the Interagency Council for Advancing Meteorological Services, aka ICAMS.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an ICAMS weather research partner agency which has been advancing weather and climate modification experimentation for decades. According to the NSF listing below, the Atmosphere Cluster Grant: “Supports fundamental research on atmospheric processes, including chemical, physical and dynamic factors that influence weather, climate, air quality and the water cycle.” Research methods include experiments in the field.
