NEXRAD RF Microwave Radiation Pollution
30 March 2026 | ZEROGeoengineering.com | Radiofrequency Microwave Radiation (RF/MW) is pollution that is continuously emitted by NEXRAD (Next Generation Radar) facilities. NEXRAD weather radar systems are used for weather prediction and weather experimentation. Several USA State weather modification policy initiatives address electromagnetic radiation pollution – see related materials below.
The NEXRAD (Next Generation Weather Radar) system is a tri-agency federal system jointly managed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (within the Department of Commerce, via the National Weather Service), the United States Air Force (Department of Defense), and the Federal Aviation Administration (Department of Transportation).

Using an “average value” method to calculate RF/MW Radiation emissions, proponents of NEXRAD dilute measurements by thousands of times.
A 2017 study performed on a NEXRAD in Huntersville, North Carolina found high levels of pulsed microwave radiation pollution.
Due to the lack of transparency, volunteer researchers in Idaho, Maine, and Massachusetts visited NEXRAD locations and documented readings showing high levels of RF/MW Radiation pollution.
The first NEXRAD shown is located in Boise, Idaho. The reading was taken on March 27, 2026 from about 1,000 ft. away.

According to the Building Biology Institute‘s protective guidelines for RF/MW exposure, Radiofrequency (RF) values greater than 1,000 µW/m² [microwatt per meter squared] are considered to be hazardous. As seen in the photo above, the peak RF value of 981 m/Wm2 [milliwatt per meter squared] – converted to microwatts = 981,000 µW/m² [microwatt per meter squared]. 981,000 µW/m² [microwatt per meter squared] is nearly one thousand times higher than the Building Biology Institute safety guidelines!
The next reading is from Taunton, Massachusetts. The peak reading of 841,030 µW/m² [microwatt per meter squared], is well above 1,000 µW/m² [microwatt per meter squared].
The third reading is from New Gloucester, Maine with a peak reading far into the hazard range at 891,034 µW/m² [microwatt per meter squared].

NEXRAD readings documented in this post illustrate only one moment in time. To get an idea of how much pulsed RF/MW Radiation pollution exposure is occurring, values shown above would need to be accounted for and added, for every minute, of every day, of every week, of every year. Since RF/MW Radiation emissions are continuously polluting the environment from thousands of facilities, synergistic impacts (the combined effect of two or more substances) can become exponentially larger problems.
At this time there is no monitoring of RF/ MW Radiation pollution for the purpose of protecting people and the environment from involuntary exposure. It is necessary to start accounting for this pollution.

People have the right to be free from involuntary exposure to hazardous physical agents such as the pulsed RF/MW Radiation pollution emitted by NEXRAD.

Geophysicist Stefan Burns discusses how NEXRAD operations can modify weather systems: “Just based on fairly simple physics, it is undeniable that we are adding more energy into our atmospheric systems and therefore into our weather than we would have if we did not have these installations. So that is also weather modification.”
