Can We Talk About the Weather Enterprise?

The following American Presidency Project article documents the 1964 agreement between Washington and Moscow for the exchange of weather information via the UN WMO (World Meteorological Organization). President Lyndon B. Johnson references President Kennedy’s remarks with regard to international weather control: “This cooperative effort has grown out of the beginning made by President Kennedy in his speech to the United Nations on September 25, 1961 He said then that our country “… would propose cooperative efforts between all nations in weather predictions and eventually in weather control …. ” In 1961 and 1962, the United Nations called upon the World Meteorological Organization to develop a program of cooperation that would strengthen weather service and research. The Organization responded with a concept of a world weather system and has designated Moscow and Washington as two world weather centers.“
Readers of ZG are aware of the “U.S. Federal Weather Enterprise” and the United Nations (UN) World Meteorological Organization (WMO) collaboration in global weather experimentation and monitoring among 193 UN WMO Member Nations in the “Global Weather Enterprise.” Weather Enterprise infrastructure comprises a global wireless control grid.
2026 United Nations (UN) World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Members:
People in the United States of America and around the World value their liberty and therefore oppose interference in their lives and interference with the weather by governments. As a result, governing institutions go to great lengths to manufacture messaging that makes Weather Enterprise capabilities such as continuous unwarranted surveillance and weather experiments sound legitimate and necessary for “public safety.”
Congressional Weather Enterprise Caucus
In July 2026, the “Weather Enterprise” Caucus was formed by U.S. Congressmen Mike Flood (R-NE) and Eric Sorensen (IL-17), a Meteorologist. According to the following press release, “the caucus’s founding co-chairs both have backgrounds in the broadcast industry.” The Weather Enterprise Caucus is marketed as an opportunity to strengthen “weather science” programs through Federal partnerships with the weather industry.
The Congressional “Weather Enterprise” messaging above is consistent with the UN WMO’s 2024-2027 Weather Research Plan: “In this Plan, we address priorities under the umbrella of science-for-service, guided by the priorities contained in the WMO Strategic Plan 2024-2027, and by a set of principles for Advancing Weather Research to Reduce Risk to SociEties, referred to as the AWAR3E principles.”
Most people would probably agree that public safety is a priority, but what is the actual cost of the Weather Enterprise’s predatory and invasive global monitoring systems to Americans, including the threat to national security, liberty, health, privacy, and environmental impacts?
The United States Weather Enterprise, in partnership with the United Nations, private industry, the military, and academia, is well established and has invested BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars into dual purpose global infrastructure (NEXRAD, satellites, telecommunications) that includes capabilities to collect private data from (including neural data) and to continuously monitor Americans 24/7.

United Nations specialized agencies – the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) are UN standard-setting bodies involved with coordination of weather experimentation (“research”) and global monitoring (surveillance and data collection). The WMO and ITU are partners in weather services, monitoring, and data collection efforts toward the implementation of UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
