Aerosol Particle Dispersion as a Method of Obscuration
13 September 2026 | ZEROGeoengineering.com | The purpose of aerosol injection discussed in the following article is to hide aircraft in order to avoid detection by infrared (IR) systems. Aerosol particles such as graphite, [1] Magnesium oxide (MgO), [2] and Silicon dioxide (SiO2) [3][4] are sprayed into the hot exhaust emissions which scatter and absorb IR radiation, so the aircraft can be less visible to IR sensors. According to the authors, continuing work in this area is its application on the supersonic aircrafts.
Military driven research experiments or activities of this nature [5] are not “for the express purpose” of altering temperature, weather, climate, or the intensity of sunlight. Therefore the experimentation would not be subject to Florida, Louisiana, and Tennessee laws, even though there would be significant environmental and human health impacts. This fact further underscores the importance of amending those laws in Florida, Louisiana, and Tennessee and enacting comprehensive measures in other states and nations to protect people and nature from experimentation involving hazardous pollution releases.
