SRM Governance Discussed at UN Conference in Azerbaijan
25 November 2024 | ZeroGeoengineering.com | A conversation on governance and research of solar radiation modification (SRM) took place at the UN conference in Baku, Azerbaijan on November 11, 2024.
While most people around the world do not consent to the deliberate poisoning of the atmosphere with aerosols, unelected bureaucrats and well-funded academics and attendees at the conference promoted SRM narratives with the usual framing.
Environmental Warfare is not Ethical
Governance of SRM ‘research’ [experimentation] is not possible because the act of poisoning the air (SRM) is a violent crime against humanity and nature and therefore must be outlawed and prohibited in perpetuity.
Governments are funding and coordinating SRM interventions. The policies enabling SRM experimentation and other polluting atmospheric interventions must change.
Laws with enforcement mechanisms and severe penalties that prohibit these activities are needed.
