2022-2023 Cloud Seeding Operations in Nevada, Colorado, and California
July 25, 2023 | ZeroGeoEngineering.com | According to their website, during the 2022-2023 season Desert Research Institute (DRI) conducted “cloud seeding research and operations in six mountain ranges including the Lake Tahoe Basin (CA/NV), Spring Mountains (NV), Ruby Mountains (NV), Santa Rosa Mountains (NV), the San Juan Mountains (CO), and in the Upper Colorado River Headwaters region along the Continental Divide in northern Colorado.”

In DRI partnerships involving weather modification activities with academics, industry, and government agencies, there is a conspicuous absence of meaningful public input, oversight, or informed consent to weather manipulation schemes.

U.S. policy, Nevada law and other USA states allow for weather modification programs and research, even though these programs may cause weather extremes such as drought, flooding, extreme fire hazard and cause harm to health.
According to 2008 scientific research, “The radiative effects of aerosols on clouds mostly act to suppress precipitation…”
