Heating Earth’s ionosphere with antennas that transmit High Power Radiofrequency Microwave Radiation (RF/MWR) began as a military endeavor to control the ionosphere that has been associated with weather weaponry.

HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) located in Gakona, Alaska, is currently operated by University of Alaska Fairbanks with funding from the National Science Foundation.  Many universities participate in this type of destructive experimentation justified by the term, “research”.
