Cloud Seeding – A Review
This review from Al-Bayan Center for Planning and Studies, documents cloud seeding, a method of weather modification that involves the intentional polluting of our atmosphere with toxic chemicals.
One of the stated disadvantages includes the fact that chemicals used in cloud seeding have the potential to harm the environment. Silver iodide, one of the chemicals released via cloud seeding, is recognized as an environmental hazard by PubChem, and is described as being very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
Finally, dry ice used in cloud-seeding, which is solid carbon dioxide ( CO2 ), has been entirely omitted from climate discussions. – ZG.
