Fiscal Year 2020 Budget and Coordination Report | Office of the Federal Coordinator for Meteorology (OFCM) |

This report consists of two main sections. 

Section 1 is a description of the Federal weather coordination structure and the ongoing collaborative efforts supporting the goals and objectives of the Strategic Plan for Federal Weather Enterprise (FWE) Coordination. 

Section 2 consists of meteorological services and/or supporting research funding requested by and assigned to the Federal Weather Enterprise and, where applicable, reflects the agencies’ priorities related to the forecast process.

Deploying fifth generation (5G) wireless connectivity is even more imperative because it will enable a wide range of transformational technologies, from smart cities to the Internet of Things.
