Operational hygroscopic cloud seeding aimed at rain enhancement has been conducted extensively in many countries, including India, USA, Saudi Arabia, China, Thailand and other countries.
The introduction of a great amount of salt particles does not result in “overseeding” at which the concentration of drops increases and instead of their enlargement the drops become smaller.
