Atmospheric Sciences

THE DIVISION OF ATMOSPHERIC SCIENCES (DAS) conducts fundamental and applied research, and provides services related to the atmosphere on a wide range of topics including air quality, cloud and aerosol physics, atmospheric chemistry, climate, renewable energy, fire seater, and atmospheric dynamics.  The work is conducted in Nevada and around the world in response to the needs of public and private organizations.
